Notice of 2010 Comprehensive Plan Amendments and Public Hearings
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Wenatchee is considering the following proposed amendments to the Wenatchee Urban Area Comprehensive Plan:
1. Land Use Element
a. CPA10-1: A City-sponsored proposal to change the land use designation of approximately three (3) acres from Residential High (RH) with Mixed Residential Corridor (MRC) Overlay to North Wenatchee Business District (NWBD) on the south side of Fifth Street to the north side of Fourth Street, west of Garfield Street to east of Emerson Street in Section 3, Township 22 N., Range 20 E.W.M.
b. CPA10-2: A City-sponsored proposal to expand the Wenatchee Urban Growth Area boundary and to change the land use designation of approximately 29 acres from Rural Residential/Resource 5 (RR5) to a new Residential Foothills Low land use category south of Skyline Drive in Section 9, Township 22 N., Range 20 E.W.M.
c. CPA10-3: A City-sponsored proposal to expand the Wenatchee Urban Growth Area boundary and to change the land use designation of approximately 19 acres from Rural Residential/Resource 10 (RR10) to Residential Single Family (RS) east of Squilchuck Road in Section 22, Township 22 N., Range 20 E.W.M.
2. Transportation Element - CPA10-4: A City-sponsored proposal to update the Wenatchee Urban Area Circulation Map.
3. Community Design Element - CPA10-5: A City-sponsored proposal to add text regarding Dark Sky Design.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wenatchee Planning Commission will hold a regularly-scheduled public hearing on August 18, 2010 at 5:30pm in the Council Chambers of Wenatchee City Hall, 129 South Chelan Avenue, Wenatchee to consider the proposed 2010 Comprehensive Plan Amendments.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wenatchee City Council will hold a regularly-scheduled public hearing on September 9, 2010 at 5:15pm in the Council Chambers of Wenatchee City Hall, 129 South Chelan Avenue, Wenatchee to consider the Planning Commission’s recommendations on the proposed 2010 Comprehensive Plan Amendments.
