Senior/Disabled Low Income Rate Reduction

Wenatchee City Code, Section 9.02.010 allows for a 50% rate reduction for qualifying senior/disabled low-income single-family users of water, sewer and/or garbage services. Qualification is based on low-income status for senior citizens (age 62 or over) and individuals receiving SSI, SSDI, total disability from L&I payment, legally blind or Veterans discharged with a disability. Qualifying applicants must also be the responsible party or spouse/partner of the responsible party.

Income Qualifications: All sources of income must be reported and the annual household income cannot exceed $25,000 for a single person or $35,000 for a household of 2 or more individuals.
