SPOTLIGHT: The City of Wenatchee adopted their Complete Streets Policy on Thursday, September 8th via Ordinance 2016-24. This policy is the first step of the City's Pedestrian Master Plan and will help guide plans, designs, construction, operations, maintenance and funding for projects with the intent to safely and adequately provide comfortable and convenient access and mobility upon, along and across our right-of-ways, trails and transit system for users of all ages, abilities and modes.
Planning to Blossom 2037: The Wenatchee Urban Area Comprehensive Plan is the governing providing guidance and direction to the City Government in its actions and implementation of principles for community development. This plan provides an inside look on how the City of Wenatchee is looking across the entire community at social and economic issues, historical assets, cultural values, the sustainability of the community, condition of housing and the impacts to neighborhoods including infrastructure, community facilities, transportation networks and safety.
