Recruitment and selection for the City of Wenatchee Police Department is conducted according to Civil Service Rules & Regulations (see PDF 1 MB). The Civil Service System implemented by these rules substantially accomplishes the purpose of Chapter 41.12 of the RCW. The Civil Service Commission fulfills the Civil Service function by managing the hiring process for all of our Civil Service positions. Click here to read RCW 41.12.
The Civil Service Commission is responsible for the creation and execution of the testing process and will certify the final eligibility list for civil service positions within the City of Wenatchee.
