Conveniently located at 504 South Chelan Avenue, the Wenatchee Community Center provides rental facilities, community services and recreation, education and literacy programs for residents of our community. Community Garden
A community garden is located along the west side of the Community Center parking lot. The garden was made possible through the receipt of a Community Foundation of North Central Washington, Neighborhood Matching Grant and donations from the community. Rental Facilities
With three rooms available for rent, the Community Center has been providing affordable locations for public meetings, receptions, weddings, business seminars, and family events since opening in June of 2006. You may download a Community Center Reservation Packet by clicking here.
Building amenities include internet connections, projection screens, an audio /video cart for DVD presentations, a sound system with recording capability, tables, chairs and kitchen facilities to make your event a pleasant and memorable experience. Our meeting rooms can accommodate groups ranging in size from 10 to 300 people.
Community Center Subsidized Rent Program
Groups whose activities meet the goals and policies of the Community Center Board may be eligible for reduced Community Center rental rates. Applicants must agree that their rental use will be a free service, and it will be open to the general public. Applications are accepted for one-time uses of the Community Center. Community Center Advisory Board
The Community Center Advisory Board is a 9-member citizen Board appointed by the Mayor. The primary function of the Board is to advise and make recommendations to the Mayor and City Council concerning the operation of the Wenatchee Community Center.
MEETINGS
The Board regularly meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at Wenatchee Community Center. Meetings begin at 12:00pm and are open to the public.
