The following organizations are affiliates of the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center.  They are community partner organizations who contribute to the Museum's mission of inspiring dynamic connections to the unique heritage of the Wenatchee Valley. The Museum acts as a fiscal sponsor and provides oversight and administrative support of their activities. The groups are responsible for the coordination and fundraising for each of their projects and the museum supports their efforts.

  • Community Heritage Video Series (North 40 Productions / Howell at the Moon)
    A series of documentaries of historical topics and individuals, both past and present, which have helped create our regional identity and made our communities what they are today.
  • Dancing with Birds
    Multicultural and multidiscipline learning projects using arts, music, dance and educational information about migratory birds of Latin America, Central America, South America and Mexico.
  • Fiestas Mexicanas: Second Weekend of September in Lincoln Park
    Dedicated to preserving and promoting area Latino heritage and culture through celebrations based upon Latino traditions.
  • Julian Patrick Vocal Camp
    This camp offers young singers a chance to be coached and mentored by highly trained members of the creative and academic community. These mentors teach voice, movement and acting techniques. Many of their former students are now majoring in music at reputable colleges throughout the U.S.
  • Mariachi: Bridging Cultures, film trailer available in Museum collection
  • Mariachi Northwest Festival, May student workshops and performance; gala concert under the direction of Juan Manuel Cortez
    Celebrates music and education, with student recognition and enrichment with activities utilizing professional musicians and emphasizing Mexican heritage.
  • Photography Association of Wenatchee
    An organization of people with a common interest in photography, dedicated to educating all of those who want to benefit from learning, teaching, sharing, participating, and showing photography on a regular basis to those living primarily in Chelan and Douglas Counties.
  • Wells House Committee
    Manage, schedule, maintain, and operate historic Wells House, located on the campus of Wenatchee Valley College.
  • Wenatchee Area Genealogical Society
    Stimulate interest in genealogy, to acquire genealogical information to be shared with others, and to assist members in their compilation of family genealogies and family histories.
  • Wenatchee Arts Education Consortium
    Dedicated to fostering arts education in schools and in the community.
  • Wenatchee Jazz Workshop
    Dedicated to preserving and promoting the arts of Jazz Music to students in the Wenatchee Valley.
  • Wildfires 1994: Photographs of Devastation and Regrowth, John Marshall
    Documents and provides information on wildfire ecology of the east side of the Washington Cascades using as its core, photographs depicting 20 years of change in the landscape following the 1994 fires.
