A. No, but you can always refer to our web page or call Human Resources at
(509) 888-6203 to inquire about possible openings.
Q. Do you accept applications/resumes when there are no openings?
A. Yes we accept resumes and will keep them on file for one year. We do not distribute applications unless there is an opening.
Q. Where can I look for job openings?
A. When we have a job opening we will advertise the posting in the Wenatchee World newspaper and on this website.
Q. When will police and/or fire testing be held?

Q. How long are jobs posted?
A. The length of time a job is advertised varies, though the average is two weeks.
Q. What is the process once a position closes?
A. Resumes are reviewed by Human Resource and the department
Director, Supervisor and/or Manager. Those candidates whose qualifications
(experience and education) most closely match the department’s needs will be
invited to continue on in the process. All applicants are notified of their status by phone or mail.
Q. Do you accept faxed or electronic resumes and cover letters?
A. Yes, if they are received prior to the application deadline. The original signed and dated application must be delivered by mail or in person to the Human Resources Department.
