The 325 acre natural area was acquired in 2010 through a State Recreation Conservation Funding Board grant and private donations raised by the Chelan Douglas Land Trust.  It features habitat areas and non-motorized access trails.  The 1.5 mile long, main trail to the top of Saddle Rock is steep in places gaining over 1,500 feet in elevation along the route.

Please remember to stay on trails while visiting natural areas and pack out any trash you may generate
