Draft 2019 CDBG Annual Action Plan

Residents of Wenatchee and other interested persons are invited to comment on the following:

  1. The draft 2019 Annual Action Plan: The 2019 Annual Action Plan describes how anticipated CDBG funds will be used and identifies associated activities the City proposed to undertake in the 2019 program year.

All comments, preferably in writing, that are received by August 12, 2019 will be considered prior to final action. Such comments shall be addressed to:

A copy of the draft 2019 Annual Action Plan is available on the City’s website at www.wenatcheewa.gov. Copies, including alternative formats, may also be requested by calling (509) 888-3258.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Wenatchee Planning Commission at 301 Yakima Street, Wenatchee, WA on July 17, 2019 at 5:30pm to consider all public comments and take action on the proposed 2019 Annual Action Plan. The City encourages all citizens to participate. Requests for special assistance to participate in this meeting, including language interpretation, must be made at least five (5) days prior to the scheduled hearing date.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a second public hearing will be held by the Wenatchee City Council at 301 Yakima Street, Wenatchee, WA on August 8, 2019 at 5:15pm to consider all public comments and take action on the proposed 2019 Annual Action Plan following the July 17, 2019 public hearing. The City encourages all citizens to participate. Requests for special assistance to participate in this meeting, including language interpretation, must be made at least five (5) days prior to the scheduled hearing date.

Notification 72 hours prior to the meeting will enable the City to make reasonable arrangements to ensure accessibility to the meeting.  (28 CFR 35.102-35.104 ADA Title 1.)
