Why is the City doing this Project?

The City currently has a chip seal project programmed for every three years as a part of our Pavement Preservation Program.

What to expect

This project is set to start Spring/Summer 2026.  There will be some short term road closures.  Residents will have access to their homes. This project was awarded to Central Washington Asphalt November 20, 2025.  We are currently waiting for the weather to warm up to start construction which will be complete by the Fall of 2026.
