Pedestrian Crossing Improvements

The City of Wenatchee has identified a need pedestrian improvements on Spokane Street between Chelan Avenue and Wenatchee Avenue.

Improvements are located at the following locations:

  1. Intersection of Chelan Avenue and Spokane Street.

  2. Intersection of Mission Street & Spokane Street.

  3. North side of Spokane Street between Mission Street and Wenatchee Avenue.

     

    Improvements Include:

     

  • Curb bulb-outs at Chelan Avenue and Mission Street to reduce the pedestrian crossing distance. 

  • Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) to notify drivers of pedestrians crossing Chelan Avenue and Mission Street.

  • New sidewalk on the north side of Spokane Street between Mission Street and Wenatchee Avenue to provide a safer walking route.

La ciudad de Wenatchee ha identificado una necesidad de mejoras peatonales en Spokane Street entre la avenida Chelan y la avenida Wenatchee.

Las mejoras se encuentran en las siguientes ubicaciones:
1. Intersección de la avenida Chelan y calle Spokane.
2. Intersección de la calle Mission y calle Spokane.
3. Lado norte de calle Spokane entre la calle Mission y la avenida Wenatchee.

Las mejoras Incluyen:
• Expansión de la banqueta en la avenida Chelan y calle Mission para reducir la distancia del cruce peatonal.
• Faros intermitentes rápidos rectangulares (RRFB) para notificar a los conductores de peatones que cruzan la avenida Chelan y calle Mission.
• Nueva banqueta en el lado norte de la calle Spokane entre la calle Mission y avenida Wenatchee para proporcionar una ruta más segura a pie.
