In 2012 the community shared with the City of Wenatchee what is important, needed and valued. This year we have the opportunity to use our Community Development Block Grant funds to partner with the community and make things happen. A general timeline, that can be found HERE, of past events has been created and will be continually updated as the project moves forward.

Art Party Flier

April 8, 2015

Meeting #2 had two sessions from 9am-10:30am & 7pm - 9pm

This was an opportunity for the community to see the next steps in construction and how they can get involved in designing the public art component.

If you weren't able to be at the meeting and would like to know what was discussed, you can find a summary of all community comments by checking out Meeting #2 Notes.

February 18, 2015

We held our 1st community meeting and what a success! Our Mayor, City Council members, Planning Commission members, Art Commission members and City staff were all present to LISTEN to what the community wanted to say. High participation from residents provided valuable information that will lead into the 2nd community meeting on April 8, 2015.

Discussions about lighting, sidewalks, streets, public art and more took place for over an hour. If you weren't able to be there, here are some next step options for you to get involved!
