The Neighborhood Improvement Grant is designed to be a collaborative partnership between volunteer groups and the City of Wenatchee for local neighborhood revitalization projects.

The grant brochure provides a quick overview of the program elements. Read the program guidelines for a more thorough explanation of the program elements.

Proposal Letters must include the following information:

  • Description of proposed project including:
    • Purpose of the project
    • How will it improve the neighborhood
    • Activities to be completed
    • Number of households to benefit from the project
    • Identification of projects participants (volunteers, partner agencies, etc.)
    • General Timeline
  • Estimated program costs (city staff are available to assist with estimates)
  • Will City resources be requested…if yes:
    • Describe type of assistance required (e.g., street signage installation, trash collection, project/planning facilitation, etc.)
  • Contact information for individual(s) representing the applicant group

NOTE: Mini grant proposal letters will be accepted and evaluated on a first come, first serve basis. Large grant proposal letters must be submitted by January 1 of the calendar year of which the project is expected to begin.

Mini Grants: Up to $1,500

Large Grants: Between $1,501 - 10,000
