SOUTH WENATCHEE ACTION PLAN: View the plan and get inspired for the opportunities that await in South Wenatchee! We have taken all of the backbone information for the plan and compiled them in an appendices!

Why A Sub Area Plan?

Using a community-driven process, the City and its consultants, ECONorthwest, are finalizing the plan that will impact future projects and programs based on the following identified information.

  1. Community values and assets
  2. Community partners can collaborate on community and economic development
  3. how to build relationships between the community and public institutions

This process has brought strategies and actions for South Wenatchee. The plan will be incorporated as part of the City's Comprehensive Plan and will help to establish goals, identify near-term visible improvements and provide a road map for realizing the long-term vision for South Wenatchee that reflects what was heard from the community.

Next Steps

Three (3) very successful community meetings led to the development of the South Wenatchee Action Plan. After final review the City will work to convene community members, agency/organization representatives and additional stakeholders to begin the implementation of the plan! Great work everyone, we're ready to implement.
