Wenatchee Area Statistics

The Wenatchee Urban Area is approximately twice the size of the City of Wenatchee in terms of population.  When comparing the Wenatchee Urban Area income levels with other urban areas in the Northwest, Wenatchee does very well based on smaller numbers of low income households and greater numbers of higher income households.  This income distribution, as well as being the regional hub for North Central Washington, are reasons that businesses in Wenatchee typically out perform their marketing projections.  The following chart illustrates how Wenatchee income distributions compare to other urban areas:  2011 Household Income Distribution Urban Area Comparisons
